Fight between Gowda, Modi

H.D. Deve Gowda“Narendra Modi will not become the Prime Minister of this country. Only corporate houses from Gujarat are projecting him as the future Prime Minister,” JD(S) National President H D Deve Gowda said.
Deve Gowda said, “There must be a secular government. After the election results are out, regional parties would come to power at the Centre and Congress might extend support to the regional parties to form the government. If Congress bags more seats in the polls, then regional parties would sit and decide on supporting it to form the government.”
Narendra Modi on Sunday took a jibe at JDS chief H D Deve Gowda for his remark that he will “quit” Karnataka if BJP forms the government, saying the former PM was welcome in Gujarat where he will serve him more than his son.
“You are the former Prime Minister and I am like your son. If it has become difficult for you to stay here, I pray you, don’t worry, I will extend all facilities in Gujarat for you.
